How to treat a broken or chipped tooth
We have a couple different options for fixing a chipped or broken tooth, depending on where it is in your mouth. At the front of the mouth, cosmetic bonding is a common fix for broken or chipped teeth. Large breaks may require a porcelain crown or a veneer.
In the back of the mouth, smaller chips or breaks may require a simple tooth-colored filling. Back teeth generate a lot of force so fillings aren’t always appropriate. For larger chips or breaks involving a cusp of a tooth, an inlay or onlay may be a better option.
